- Conservation Course -
Painting the Cheetah
Learn more about one of Africa’s most unique and endangered carnivores, the cheetah, as you paint this incredible cat using mixed media and recycled materials.
Hosted at Nevada Fine Arts this class will cover the sketching process through a complete masterpiece.

All Materials needed will be available for purchase at Nevada Fine Arts ahead of course start. A base wooden canvas is the main matieral required, and any desire acrylic paint colors. These can be small acrylic paints, but Modge Podge, pastels, markers etc. and a variety of paint colors will be provided by instructor.
Please collect any magazines, newspapers and other print materials to bring to class ahead of time, to create with! These can be junk mail, stashed stacks of magazines or discarded paper goods otherwise collecting dust…

July 11, 18, 25, and August 1st
Each course is from 3pm - 6pm, and is complete instruction for one cheetah masterpiece.
- Wildlife Sketching -
Spend a summers morning at Animal Ark Wildlife Sanctuary, learning about its animal residents as well as sketching in the field and on the move.
This class explores multiple species, all while taking in the beautiful scenery of Nevada’s foothills.

Any and all materials for this course can be purchased at Nevada Fine Arts
Because this is a sketching course, any items a student would like to sketch with or normally sketch on are acceptabe. As follows are the reccomended materials: sketch pad, graphite pencil, marker or secondary line weight, traditional pencil, kneaded and or standard eraser, sunscreen and hat or other sun protection.

The cost of this course is $175, due at the time of course instruction, paid in either cash or check to the instructor.
It includes TWO sketching sessions, any two of your choice from the available dates. It does not cover any sketching materials the student may choose to work with, but does include a cold water and chair.
This course fee also includes all day admission to Animal Ark, and students may stay in the wildlife park to explore following course instruction. Animal Ark is open 10:00am - 4:30 pm.

These courses are sketching sessions but students are certainly welcome to sign up for more than one session.
